UPVC FRONT DOOR NOT LOCKING

“David arrived when he said he would, and was helpful and very pleasant. Extremely polite and efficient, worked out the problem and advised me of my options without any obligation whatsoever. It makes a change to see someone who obviously enjoys his work! As I’m a pensioner I’m wary about who I can trust so as David was recommended to me by one of my local church wardens, I was pleased to say he came up trumps! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and his company.”

Sandra Williams (Sidcup)

UPVC PATIO DOOR FAULT

“The locksmith got the job done quickly and even did some adjustment work on another door free of charge! On past occasions I have felt slightly intimidated by some other tradesmen as I live on my own but can honestly say David was friendly, approachable and explained everything very clearly. All in all he was efficient, tidy, and friendly.”

Mr T. Daly (Orpington)

STOLEN DOOR KEYS

“David arrived promptly as promised. I needed to get the locks changed on the front and back doors as my wife had her purse stolen with our keys and our home address attached. I phoned several Locksmiths who offered an emergency service but 2 never answered their phone and 1 didn’t seem interested as it as was late in the evening. David responded promptly and sorted out the problem within 1 hour! He completed the job efficiently without any fuss or bother. I like dealing with people who turn up when they say they will, get on with the work and do it professionally. I would highly recommend him”

Sue Brunsdon (Petts Wood)

LOCKED OUT

“I called David on a Sunday morning after i got locked out of my house. I am glad he was able to come within about half an hour or less. His rates were very reasonable considering it was a Sunday, as I had called 2 other companies who quoted me extremely high prices. He managed to open the door without the need for a new lock. He explained the problem as to why my key would not work and obviously knew his stuff. He adjusted the door too while he was here without any extra fee added! All in all I can honestly say I am a very satisfied customer.”

LOCK REPAIR ON SHOP DOOR

“I tried to open the door to my shop early Monday morning and snapped the key off! Started to panic as had no rear door to use and my mobile phone battery as nearly flat! Not knowing who to call I went along to the post office a few doors along to use their phone and the postmaster gave me The Lock Doctors number, saying he had used David on several occasions and recommended him. I called David who came within 30 mins. He gave me a quote and proceeded to start work. He managed to extract the broken key and pick the lock, opening the door without any damage! I had a spare key inside so he cut me 2 extra keys free of charge! I’m sure other locksmiths would have tried to drill out the lock and sell me a new one, but David examined the lock and assured me it was fine. All in all, he was very professional, polite, trustworthy, and very reasonably priced. Very impressed with the owner of this business.”

ALARM INSTALLATION

“Having had several quotations for a wireless alarm system I always try to use a local, established business, as having used large companies in the past I have been disappointed with the service offered as they only seemed interested in the financial details and how much they could sell me. I was passed David’s details from a friend who had used his company last year. He came around when he said he would and listened to what we wanted and spent time to explain exactly what he does and give free advice and recommendations. He advised us that we didn’t need half the equipment that other companies had suggested, which was refreshing and honest. His price was very competitive and the emailed quotation was well detailed. I like to think I am a good judge of character and can honestly say I found David a pleasure to speak to, with nothing being too much trouble. All in all, he offers a professional, personal and an efficient service, which seems to be missing from some companies these days. Would most definitely not hesitate to use his company again. “

UPVC LOCK REPLACEMENT

“I looked for a locksmith in my area and saw that The Lock Doctor was a locally based company. I like to use small independent businesses where I can. He came when he said he would and was very courteous and polite. The thing I was most impressed about was that he didn’t try to sell me products I didn’t need. I enquired about the need for some extra locks on the French uPVC doors and our garage door but he told me they weren’t required. It was refreshing to find someone who gives honest advice and puts their customer’s interests first! I would highly recommend David to family and friends. Many thanks”

Paul & Claire Williams (Bromley)

FAULTY UPVC LOCK

“David from The Lock Doctor came out the same day to look at a problem with my uPVC kitchen door lock. I found him pleasant and courteous and most important of all honest as he did not charge me as the problem was just a loose screw!! Anyone else would have charged me for their time I’m sure. I have since used David for other problems concerning my garage door lock. Professional, honest, impartial, a very friendly guy! Would certainly recommend this company in the future to friends and family.”

MRS BELL (Dartford)

Will recommend and use again!”

Extra locks fitting

“I had an attempted burglary so needed to get extra security asap. After getting a seemingly high quote from another company The Lock Doctor was recommended to me and so I called David to arrange a visit. Turned up on time and was very friendly and smartly dressed, always a good start! He gave me great advice without trying to sell me stuff. In fact he recommended 2 extra locks rather than the 4 to 5 extra locks that the other company had tried to sell me. Very reasonably priced, clean worker and cleaned up after with his Henry Hoover! Would definitely recommend his services.

Excellent guy to do business with!”
